All papers must be formatted according to the Advances in Intelligent and Soft Computing Series Springer template.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR PREPARING THE CAMERA-READY VERSION OF YOUR PAPER
You must upload a ZIP file including:
- a signed Copyright Form **PDF format**, see below.
- the final version of your paper (**MS-WORD or Latex format**)
- a document stating the changes performed taking into account the reviews
INSTRUCTIONS FOR UPLOADING THE PAPER IN EASYCHAIR
- Log into EasyChair. Confirm your role. This should be 'ebTEL'13 (author)'. Do the following for each accepted paper.
- Go to menu 'My submissions->Paper NN' (for multiple submissions) or menu 'Paper NN'. Note that NN is a submission number.
- Click on 'Submit a new version' link at the upper right corner.
- Specify the file name and click on 'Submit a New Version' button to upload.
Please, remember that for the accepted version of your paper you must fill out and sign the copyright form and send it back.

Expected Participants
The workshop aims at collecting contributions concerning evidence based TEL systems, like their design following EBD principles as well as success stories or best practices that educators, education stakeholders or educational psychologists used to improve their students' learning experience, in particular for students with specific difficulties (e.g. poor/slow readers, students living in impoverished communities or families).
Suggested topics include, but are not limited to:
- Evidence-based personalisation, user modelling and adaptation in TEL
- Evidence-based games and game learning for TEL
- Knowledge representation and reasoning for evidence based TEL
- Knowledge management and evidence based TEL
- Natural language processing and evidence based TEL
- Semantic web and evidence based TEL
- Web 2.0 and Social Learning environments for evidence based TEL
- Sharing and interoperability between evidence-based TEL systems
- Effective teaching techniques and strategies for learning
- Evidence based design case studies
- Evaluation guidelines, methodologies and methods for evidence based TEL
- Evidence based TEL for users with special needs
Submitting papers
We invite the submission of papers (max. 8 pages in AISC format) reporting original research, not previously published, relevant to the workshop's topics.
The accepted papers will be published by Springer in the Advances in Intelligent and Soft Computing series. . The template can be downloaded Here. All proposed papers must be submitted in electronic form (PDF format) using the ebTEL'13 conference management system.
Review process
We invite the submission of papers (max. 8 pages in Springer format) reporting original research, not previously published, relevant to the workshop's themes.
All submissions will be carefully reviewed by an international program committee. All submitted papers will undergo a thorough review process; each paper will be refereed by at least two experts in the field based on relevance, originality, significance, quality and clarity.

Publication
Accepted papers will be included in ebTEL 2013 Proceedings, published in the Advances in Intelligent and Soft-Computing series of Springer.
At least one of the authors will be required to register and attend the workshop to present the paper in order to include the paper in the conference proceedings. All accepted papers will be published by Springer Verlag.
Special Issue of IJTEL
The best papers of the ebTEL'13 will be invited a Special Issue of International Journal of Technology Enhanced Learning (IJTEL) through a dedicated call for papers.
